December updates

Even more integrations, Apple HTTP requests, and improved Graphs! 🤩

New Integrations - Catapult One!  1️⃣

🎉 What?

We've just unveiled the Catapult One integration, bringing more wearable diversity to Terra. Users can now seamlessly connect their Catapult devices, enhancing the range of compatible wearables.

🤝 How?

Our tech wizards established direct links with Catapult servers, ensuring smooth data retrieval. Now, Terra users sporting Catapult One devices can effortlessly integrate their health data into the platform.

🙆🏻‍♂️ Why?

Responding to user demands, the Catapult integration aligns with our commitment to universality. As we strive for a unified platform for all wearables, Catapult One is a significant stride toward this overarching goal.

HTTP Requests for Apple Data! 🍎⌚

🍎 What?

Exciting news for Apple enthusiasts! Terra's Apple SDK now harmonizes with our Rest API, allowing seamless data retrieval like never before. Beyond just calling SDK functions to receive past data, you can also do the same through our REST API!

🔄 How?

WhileOpt-in users' SDK data is cached for subsequent retrieval via the web API. This mirrors the interaction with other integrations, providing a consistent experience for Apple Health data handling.

🚀 Why?

This pivotal step was essential for fulfilling user requests, enabling graph plotting on Apple Health data. The integration is now more streamlined, enhancing its compatibility with other established ones.

Speed & Reliability Boost for Graph API! 🚄

📈 What?

Brace yourself for faster, more reliable graphs! Terra's Graph API now loads up to 5 times faster, ensuring an efficient and seamless experience.

🛠️ How?

Internal enhancements have turbocharged data retrieval for graphing purposes. Rethinking our architecture has bolstered the API's reliability and speed.

🎯 Why?

Our aim is to empower developers to effortlessly integrate graphs into their apps. Ensuring a robust and reliable system is paramount as the demand for Terra's Graph API grows. Performance is our priority to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic user base.

In conclusion, we continue our commitment to universality and seamless integration, welcoming Catapult One and refining connections with Apple Health. With speed and reliability enhancements to the Graph API, Terra remains steadfast in providing developers with a powerful and efficient platform for a unified, graph-rich health and fitness experience.
