Here’s our personal take on how to make a lasting impact as a HLTH exhibitor. Real connections and memorable moments don’t happen by accident, they happen by design. Here’s how we approached HLTH this year with intention, creativity, and a bit of daring.

Our top 5 lessons for HLTH exhibitors 


1. Evoke your attendees senses. Stepping into the HLTH event equals a kaleidoscope of sensory overload. Instead of only focussing on the visuals of your booth, get people to feel, smell, taste or hear something when they step in. For this year’s HLTH, we started a pull-up challenge at our booth. Yes, it’s a bit daring, but getting people moving, breaking a sweat, and engaging physically creates an experience that sticks. Plus, it's just fun.

2. Build a real product, skip virtual demos. People need to use your product on the spot to be convinced. Our motto? Show your product’s magic in under a minute. In our case, people jumped straight into our step challenge built with Terra API, and connected their own wearable to track their activity. At the end of the day, people remember what they do, not what they see on a screen. And nothing beats the confidence of watching your tech work live, right in their hands.

3. Multiply your touch points. At events like HLTH, attention spans last 2 seconds. Go beyond the booth and create touch points that naturally draw people back. Our step-count prizes brought attendees back to Terra API’s booth whenever they reached 10,000 steps, keeping us top of mind with each milestone. Your mission next year? Make your brand the one they can’t escape.

4. Be consistent with your brand. There’s a tendency at major events to rebrand everything to match the expected theme and aesthetic, in this case, focusing on a "medical" look and feel. But effective branding means repeating who you are and what you do until people can’t help but remember it. At Terra, we’re leaning into our core brand and what we stand for. Being bold, being obsessed with fitness and health, and a look that’s all us. We want people to remember Terra API, not a passing trend.

5. Leave the broad net behind. With a long lead list in hand, it’s tempting to go wide. For real results, skip the blanket messages (we all know those 5–10 irrelevant sales pitches on HLTH Connect). Instead, build a focused shortlist of “must talk to” contacts. Comb through your list of 4000 companies and filter it down to 200. Pinpoint those who can genuinely benefit from a partnership. Our team has spent days researching attendees, understanding their needs, and setting up face-to-face meetings.

For everyone who stopped by our booth this year, thank you for making HLTH unforgettable! Setting up our exhibition in under 20 days was a challenge, but seeing the energy, engagement, and genuine connections made it worth every second. If you’re thinking about exhibiting at HLTH next year, we hope our insights spark new ideas for creating experiences that resonate.
